Spa Leak Detection & Repairs

We repair plumbing leaks on spas. Please note that on some spas, due to installation or manufacturing

methods, or where multiple seals have perished, these repairs can be time-consuming and quickly get

expensive. Far too often we see completely perished seals & extremely brittle plastic due to low pH through

the use of Bromine & pool chlorines.

We don’t repair acrylic or fibreglass cracks. Please contact Fibreglass Solutions, or Bathroom Werx

for these repairs. This is not an endorsement for any company. If you have any suggestions, please

let us know!

Above Ground / Standalone / Portable Spas - We’re the experts at finding leaks in these spas, even if

they’re covered in foam!

In-Ground Leaks - Please note that due to the nature of many spas, in-ground leaks can be extremely

difficult to find due to:

- Unknowns in how the installer placed the spa

- Decking and other building in the way

- Inability to pressure test spa jets

- Accessibility

Leaks can sometimes take several visits, and can be quite timely. We can usually give an idea of what we’re

looking for if you send us as many photographs as possible, along with marking of exactly where the water

level stops.

During peak season (Sept-April) we may not be able to spend much time on in-ground leaks.

Sometimes we repair obvious leaks, only to find more leaks spring up. This is due to brittle plastics, perished

seals, movement of the spa, and other factors. Repairing multiple leaks on a spa requires time & patience.

More info - There are virtually *no* leak detection companies that can pinpoint in-ground spa leaks using

their normal equipment of plugs, air pressure, geophones, or helium-detection. There simply are far too

many fittings on a modern spa shell, and given the hundreds of shapes and sizes, no one has come up a

solution.
